Just to let you all know that if you require insurance for your holiday I would definitely recommend the link on this page. We have an annual travel policy with our bank account but it doesn't cover winter sports. We can upgrade for this at a cost of £50 but I thought I would look elsewhere. I went into the link here and was able to get suitable cover for the 2 of us for £33.90 with £5,000,000 medical cover and it was all done on line in a matter of minutes including full policy conditions ...

They will also send a free text to your mobile with certificate no and emergency phone no so you have basic details to hand in the event of an accident.
There were other options as well depending on the type of cover required.
Hope this may be of interest to some of you. Travel Insurance arranged through the UK tour operators tends to be expensive. Bye the way it is for UK residents only.
Lol
Yeah I remembered that Bulgaria isnt yet in the EU as I was typing Europe,
Hence Eur........................balls!
Its confusion from sorting out two holidays at once. Im off to Le Mans this year!!!!
OH YES
My husband is a Motor Racing marshall and marshalls Le Mans every year. This year is no exception. If this is your first time there and you want any info let me know and I will ask him.
Ive only been the once before which was in 98. It was the most fantastic weekend, Ill never forget getting out of my tent in the middle of a field surrounded by ferrari's, lambo's & TVR's! Im hopping your husband is open to bribes!
Oh and also can you ask him what time the Mulsanne Straight opens to the public on Saturday?
The E111 is a great myth. It only helps in hospital cases and does not guarantee payment. It would not cover you for mountain rescue flying you home loss of holiday etc. Anybody that relies on an E111 only is a complete and utter idiot and could well face financial ruin if the worst happens.
It also doesn't include air ambulances or other pickup from the slopes (I understand the french leave you there without proof you can pay) and probably doesn't cover dangerous activites/winter sports at all. It's a reciprocal health care agreement i.e. you can go to the doc's for a dickie tummy. Plus the UK's NHS is much better than most EU countries anyway (despite what you read in the papers). We don't have to pay for ambulances or non-emergency stuff (like Germany, Holland) or pay up ...

I second that - don't rely on the e1 11 - only allows you state healthcare and not private. We needed private last weekend when we were in pamps and had to use our insurance and still pay £60.
Get insurance. Insure and Go is good - you need it, trust me!
