Holiday Insurance

I have just booked next years holiday and taken the insurance again which is with Going places. we booked with Neilson but did not take there insurance. I have been reading about the post office insurance which looks good but i want an insurance that pays while you are out there not reimburse you when home. Any one have any more experience with insurance and can recomend one. thanks

re: Holiday Insurance

Very few do that I would imagine esp.in Bulgaria. The best thing to do is to get an annual cover policy with winter sports. I did this at a cost of £88 for a family of four ( no excess) and covers everything.

re: Holiday Insurance

Rule of thumb says never get you Insurance from the travel agent as they are mostly overpriced. Try moneysupermarket.com and thisismoney both list loads of deals so you can compare and find the best ones for yourself.

re: Holiday Insurance

Bought ours online from Nationwide, (www.nationwide.co.uk) £135 for a family of 5 for a whole year. Used it while in Bansko as my son had an accident and only had to pay the £50 excess. They were able to accept my debit card in the medical centre so it didn't eat into my holiday cash. My inlaws also bought with Nationwide and are currently getting a refund for my sister- in- law who was unable to come on medical grounds. Much more paper work involved but expecting a full refund.
