Holiday in March?

Hi
Never bin skiing before & thinking of going in March - anyone been to Bulgaria in march & is there plenty of snow?

Hi went to bulgaria bovorets for the first time last year early March it was a bit icy in front of the rila but up the top of the mountain there was plenty of snow and it is warm take some sun screen for you face you many not need your thermals!

We always go beginning of March. Conditions at the top of the gondola have always been great. Some years it tends to get icy (mornings) and slushy (afternoons) at the bottom by the Rila. Best time to go imo - get a sun tan, not usually too cold during the day and outside of school holidays so not as busy.

i always go in march and theres always plenty of snow..even last year which was a poor season in terms of snowfall...not just in bulgaria but everywhere!!
its a good place to learn but you should try snowboarding rather than skiing. skiing is reserved for crazy fools
