Stayed at the Elina last March. Had a good time, nice, clean and warm. Lovely picturesque spot within walking distance of ski centre. A bit quiet though as it is away from centre of Pamps, at night its a taxi ride into centre or a 20 minute walk of death on icey roads avoiding mental taxi drivers! Food in Elina is ok, you won't starve. Don't get a room over the restaurant as the staff like to play their music loud and its not banging tunes its bulgarian folk music, after an hour of that your ...

But overall it was fine, the staff were friendly etc. It was my first time skiing and I had a great time, I'm taking my kids this Feb and we can't wait, they tell me there is 44 sleeps to go!

Just back from the Elina, hotel is in the back of beyond you need to get a taxi if you want to go anywhere. Food was a bit dodgy but you are in a foreign country (our christmas dinner was a turkey leg with rice!!!). There is a bus to pick you up in the morning to take you to the ski school/slopes. Rooms are cold we had to ask for a fan heater in our room as we were going to bed with thermal t-shirts, long johns, socks and pj's on. Bar staff are really nice, £1.78 for 2 ...
