I've survived the week and made it back in one piece.

Met up with Ally on Saturday evening - went for pizza in the taverna at the Perelik. Didn't get to see Pete - he was supposed to meet us in the White Hart, but we missed him.

Had a good flight back, did the Plovdiv trip during the day, saved 5 extra hours hanging around at the hotel. The tour guide doesn't like doing it as she says it's really a shopping trip, not a tour. You do about 1 hour walking through the old town and where they leave you, turn right, not left into the main street. There's hardly anything down to the left.

My bed was so comfy last night, and I'm back in at work today.

Hope the daily updates were useful - already booked for next year at the Mourgavets - Crystal Rep told me that although I've been told it's a Sofia flight, it will be a Plovdiv flight. I noticed that Inghams are now doing Plovdiv for Pamps holidays so it seems like that long transfer will be a thing of the past.

glad you are home safe and well, thanks for taking the time to do your daily reports for us. thanks also for all your kind words to sophie (pain in the neck!!!) we are unsure wether to try and rebook the holiday for 20th of march or just forget it untill xmas. I have just written to the school for a 'special request' just incase we decide to go, so it may now all ride on wether we get the permission or not.

If we don't go we are also looking into balkns 2 centre holiday for august. 6 nights at golen sands, 6 nights at bansko then back to golden sands for the last 2 nights. so all is not lost. ( anyone with any info in these areas in the summer ?)
