How come PP's great holiday, in perfect snow conditions just turns into yet another moan about Balkan holidays, the poor BG food and lack of reps at this time of year, I'd rather have read another 'isn't Bulgaria a great place' entries at least you didn't moan about the price of beer.

WB PPLike you, I had the best time ever in Pamporovo this year. Long may it be that powdery and that deserted as far as I am concerned !
Do you however agree that the bottoms of the new Stoikite runs need a bit of work on them still ? I put a big gouge in my brand new Rossis the first time down, after going over something sharp just below the snow. I got wary after this and from then on took them off and slid down on my bum.
Just wondered what you thought.

Yes - I totally agree Mark. It was the only part on the entire mountain that showed any sign of wear and is in big need of cannon support. Hopefully they wil be in place by next season.

Stevie d - it's all about out with the old and in with the new in respect of the management within the resort.The banks that are now backing the resort are promising the investments that the resort badly requires but it is yet to be seen if the investment is directed in the manner we all hope for.

Nice to see it went well for you two, no doubt you will return next year as i will to borovets. still top place for meeting great people and having awesome fun after the skiing. Best conditions this year more of the same for 2010. Good luck everyonere: Home
I can’t believe the report on the murgavets hotel we stayed there for a week beginning of March this year and it was fantastic I couldn’t fault it, I did book with Thompson ski though but this wouldn’t make a difference to the food!!! We had everything so much food and so much to choose from we had a very picky eater with us and not one complaint, I just can’t believe it. All we had to do was ask we had pizza made for us at no extra cost. We had free drinks in the bar with the manager on two ...

We had free drinks in the bar with the manager on two nights, I had never been before but would go back in an instant the snow was brill the weather was great and there was a lot of improvement going on, on the slopes with all the snow cannons going in, not that we needed them at the time we went. The new bubble 6 man lift was amazing, and so was the new run, the coaches run on time every 15 mins there and back, we had a great ski instructor and a presentation evening with free drinks and food at the white heart all well organised. And all for £350 half b with all ski equipment and lift passes All I can say is I want to go back. Dawn
