Hoofing it down in Bansko

We woke this morning to a winter wonderland...
25cm on our balcony and still coming down hard...
Im off to Sofia to pick up a very lucky group (i hope, snowchains ??) who did not cancel (unlike 2 other parties) because of lack of snow.... Ooooooooooooo you doubters
Ulen today are inspecting the piste (if they can see it) with a view to opening tomorrow, im thinking more like Saturday, but it is going to be epic
I did predict that we would pay for the very mild period, im thinking ...

yeah is a bit of a worry - looking at forecasts suggestion is it's going to get warmer from Sunday (7-10c)... for a few days aswell.re: Hoofing it down in Bansko
Just dug the vans out for my impending trip to Sofia, leaving at least 4 hours to get there, but the return is in the dark
ah well, all part of the job... if i don't get on later send out the search party 
I would not worry about the warm predicted temps, the mountain will be at least 6 degrees colder, and unless it is a prelonged warm spell it ain't gonna make a bit of differance

all shaping up for a great season.... well apart from the trips to and from Sofia eh? Thanks for the updates Steve - Looking fantastic on the webcams - have they been out witht he bashers?
