Horse riding (Borovets)

Hi , We are coming to Borovets in October Half Term ( two Adults and a Child ) and would like to go Horse Riding in the Mountains. We are basically all beginners. Can anyone Give me an idea of prices and some reccomendations please. Thank You.I have followed this forum for over a year but until recently was unable to post. the information and advice given is great . Thanks to you all . John

There are several companies that do this and lots of 'others' who offer horseriding and then sub it out through the main couple of companies.
In terms of dealing direct, you can either go directly to Borovets and see Gerry (female) and her husband and they run horse-riding trips from outside the Festa palace hotel - used to be outside the Alpin but they have moved slightly round the corner. The other guys I would recommend is also Bulgarian and based in Samokov. I have their ...

I know they tailor trips to include half-day or full-day, lunch etc etc. I think you have to be at least of an adequate riding standard to use their horses but you can sort this out with them.

Hi,We are also coming to Borovets in October half term, is there anthing going on at all that week? Last year in Ocotber there was the salsa dancing congress? It was very busy.
