Horse riding anyone ??

I am booked to stay at the hotel Lion in Borovets first week of feb, i have not been before and i woudl like to try the horse riding, has anyone done this? I am an experienced rider and wondered where it is based? What level of rider they accommodate ? and if its any good ??

Horse riding available past the Rila hotel, various packages on offer, take horse out alone- unsure if thats an option though!
my daughter rates this as very good, she usually goes out for half an hour or an hour trecking through the woods with a guide for about ten lev (two year ago).
very pleasent lads working there and horses seemed well looked after.

I know there is in the summer but not sure about the winter - am sure Michelle will let you know if she sees this

Thanks for your help, would you know if you need to take your own hat and what footware they consider suitable ?? just dont think i have room for my riding boots as well as my snow boots !

in borovets as i remember they didnt wear hats! any footwear would have been suitable!

seriously they may have had hats if asked for, and the guys running it seemed eager to please- Im sure if you said "ill come back tommorow providing you have a hat" they would have one for you!
My kids went out through the woods each having a guy leading them via a reign at the side.

I will have to enquire when i get there then as i am just a little past being lead on a lead reign lol :-) ... like the idea of galloping through the woods so i think i may squeeze my own in !! I coudl get a snow boarding skull cap, then it woudl have a dual use !!
