Hello all,

I noticed a few people have put requests down for info on the Breza but few responses as to how it is.
Does anyone have any reports from this year? Also does it have Board storage or are they happy for you to keep it in the room?
Finally anyone got any advice on locks for Boards - are they worth it good ones etc, this is my first year with my own board and I'm not sure if I can really adopt the leave it anywhere philosphy (on the slopes) of previous years!!!

I loved the breza got it on a last minute and paid £145 for christmas week, was expecting a right dump, actually got a lovely recently modernised hotel with a lovely relaxing bar its a really friendly hotel the bar is the meeting place for everyone after sking and I made loads of friends there... the rooms are quite small and not much room to put your clothes etc... but it was warm, clean and had a tv with world news, a movie channel in english and a few english music channels. the storage ...

food normal standard for Bulgaria - You will not starve. its ideally situated for either of the ski depots opposite is a bar I forget the name run by english people and beer is 1 lev 20 a pint Very Happy any more questions?

re: Hotel Breza board storage and advice!

I go back to Pamps on sat but honestly I loved the runs more in Borovets, I am not sure if pamps is my favorite because it was the first resort I ski'd in and It has a feel and atmosphere I love, but Borovets I have to say for the runs is probably a better resort and it does have a similar feel to it like pamps...

Boy you know how to make someone feel bad --- I paid £400 for feb!
Seriously tho thanks for the quick reply. Im used to living out of my rucksack so the space isn't an issue.
Is there a safety deposit box in the room? or are they at reception.
Please tell the the sauna isn't clothing optional Smile
1 lev 20 sounds amazing for beer.
Food sound like the norm for bulgaria, did you eat out at all? I think I spent half my holiday in the Barbeque restaurant in Pamps supplimenting the hotel ...

re: Hotel Breza board storage and advice!

are you going on your own, if so its a great hotel for meeting people... the rooms are boxy but cosy and I had enough room for all my stuff
the safe deposit boxes are on reception think I paid about 30 lev for the week, probably less cannot remember...
the sauna was strange if I booked it first it was up to me if I wanted anyone else to share it, I had no problem with other people coming in but was pleased when they were not naked, I do believe a few people did go naked!!!! but I am happy ...

I did eat out loads only ate in the restaurant once I thinki Sad only because I have friends there who took me out most nights, we went to titanic, and Franko's I liked titanic they did this lush broccoli in like a garlic mayo sauce franco's was ok, but I was not too impressed with the pizza I had if you stick to the bulgarian food it was lovely.. also a little pizza place lower down from Breza on a corner forget the name you can sit in and eat or take away that was really nice...
nightlife was great, I went with thomson and did the bar crawl which went to most of the busy bars

Thanks again Gill.
I'm going with a friend but it's still always good to meet people its part of the holiday in my opinion.
Sauna sounds a bit strange! think it will be the first time I've been boarding and had to remember to pack flip flops....
Cheers for all the advice I'm glad Borovets has a similar feel to pamps I really like pamps and feel like I'm ditching a old friend not going there, though after last years ice and tarmac boarding i had to go for Borovets based on early dumps.. ...
