Hotel Change

Just when you get good reports and things looking good along comes the hotel change. Travelling out on 28th, just like Julie, to the Stazhite and have been hit with overbooking. Perin or Perun, in town or closer to Gondola.....Any advice? Have not been offered the Lion.re: Hotel Change
Hi Ski Bum,If I remember right - the PIRIN is closer to the town square BUT further away from the gondola....about 20 min. walk up the main street that runs through the town.
The PERUN is exactly opposite the Lion and is not bad walking distance from the gondola - easy reach to the main street and shops, bars etc..

the Perun has a lovely outdoor heated swimming pool and a plunge pool, I have only ever been in the receptions of both hotels but I would say the perun is the nicest of the two, and it is only 5 minutes walk (max of 10 minutes) from the gondola. if you are going with thomson or crystal say hi to Terry Thomson (TT) for me, he is the rep in the perun and is a really nice guy, he is new to the job this year so full of enthusiam not sure he will last the season with the same enthusiam, but think ...
