Hi AllI've been visiting this site for the past few days and have really enjoyed reading all your views and updates. Like others I have also booked a last minute holiday and was wondering if any one has just back from boro and stayed at the Hotel Edelweiss? Is there anything that I need to take eg coffee or kettle etc I've read mixed reviews on this hotel and was wondering if it was ok (clean and warm)?
Any ifo would be greatly appreciated.

ive just come back from staying at the edelweiss, its clean and warm with the towels changed everyday, bars ok they have a large selection of drinks/cocktails, food is so so but i will eat anything! allow 10 - 15 mins to walk to the hire depots/ gondola etci thought it was fine for the money

We have just returned from edelweiss hotel last week. Yes the hotel is 'ok'
Its clean. food is sometimes just warm but they have a microwave so you can just give it an extra boost if needed.
The rooms are very small and the heating is intermittent, we had to advise the receptionist on a couple of occasions that the rooms were cold, but we always managed to sort it out. The bar is very reasonable .
Taxis/horses are always waiting outside ready to take you into the resort. ...

Taxis/horses are always waiting outside ready to take you into the resort. We paid 10 lev each way, if you did want to walk it would take you 10/15 mins, but if you are carrying your equipment its a tough walk as its more up hill. (worth getting a taxi!)
Overall its a 2/3star hotel, basic but clean, wouldnt choose to go back there unless it was a late bargin again.
