Hotel Ela, Borovets

Just wondering if anyone has stayed in this hotel? We are due to fly out on the 5th February and getting excited/apprehensive in equal measure! Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Been there a couple of times. Very central and quite basic but clean. Evening meals were a bit hit and miss, but then its cheap to eat out!

Stayed there last year, room was large and spacious and also very warm if you kept the radiators on. Would advise you to get into the dining room early on for a hot meal cos the Bulgaians don't like their food too hot and asume nobody else does. having said that the food was pretty good when we were there, the bar was excellent and the beer cheap. Its opposite the Samakov and by the Gondola. You should have a great time and the people are very friendly.
