Hotel Ela

Hi everyone!!!
I am staying @ the Hotel Ela. Was just wondering whether the rooms are good value and can anyone reccomend a good Restaurant for vegitarians?

just came back with a vegetarian..avoid TYROL restaurant.
Hunters (which is opposite yr hotel) is good food but menu is confusing..man who runs it is very nice and will do anything to accomodate.
Green King has very good food and has a page of veggie stuff.. Francos does nice pizzas..katies is a steak house but is only mediocre..the chinese (red dragon) is ok but AVOID the royal prawns..that are very expensive.
there is veggie stuff on most menus but the range of dishes does vary

Not the number one resort in the world for veggies, though most place will cater for you if you ask, bit suprised about the comment about Katys, the steaks are excellant. The best dish i had this year was the wild boar at the lucky strike, closely followed by the 'kebap pot' in the Greene King. either of these places will put something together for you, and if you go into the greene king say hi to bobby from me, hell treat you very well if you do.
