Most likely going to be staying in this hotel, one of the twin single rooms with a balcony, anyone stayed here? have any comments, opinions or stories about it?
We stayed there at the end of last season, it was very quiet when we went. Because of this, the food they offered was very limited (there was only us usually getting served!).
However it is a very nice hotel, rooms basic but clean and comfortable, staff friendly. It's only a short walk to the gondola or chair lifts. I would certainly recommend it.
Yes its only 5 minutes walk to the centre of the resort. The view from the balcony was ok, although we went late in the season after the snow at the hotels had mostly melted, so it would look better with snow!
The rooms were big enough with accompanying bathroom, it's what you would expect for a 3-star hotel i think.
It is a very pretty looking chalet style hotel with a nice reception and open fire.
We haven't stayed there ourselves but people in our ski group were there and thought it very good. It is on the same road as the Gondola and the queue for that can reach the Floras front door so you really are in the thick of it.
You have the choice of walking down the high street onto the slopes or cutting down a lane around the back of the shops straight onto the slopes - 2 mins if you're ...
