Located in a quiet location in old Borovets.
Stayed there last year and again this February.

The hotel provides transport to the lifts area in the morning (drop off/pick up point by the Samokov) Several trips. Then a return journey in the afternon early evening.
The walk, however, is not bad and a good idea at the end of a days skiing. 1.5km is just less than a mile. Not far at all. It might even prove beneficial in the morning - as a warm up.
Skis/boards can be stored in the various depots for a small fee. As it happpens, Peters place is on the corner opposite the Gondola.
Taxis to and from the Kalina, appear to charge a straight 10leva.
Me and My friend are also staying there and have not heard much about this place, however as long as there is a bed and shower I do not care for the remainder, am there for there snow.
Incidentally, the Kalina is one of the few places that English isn't widely spoken to conversation standards. But try anyway. The staff will generally understand what it is you want - ie, a Taxi to town.
