Hotel Lion, Bansko

14 of us due to arrive at this hotel on 3rd March, Can't Wait now!! Anyway does anybody know who has already been whether or not the hotel takes credit cards ?? On our booking confirmation from Inghamms it says they don't take credit cards for extras ??? Also do they have a cash point or bureau de change in or near the hotel ?

Stayed at the Lion a couple of weeks ago...all drinks and meals in the bar could be charged to your room, paid our bill with a credit card at the end of the week no problems. Be careful if you're planning on using cashpoints though - not sure about the one in the Perun but all the others in town apart from the United Bank of Bulgaria (I think) aren't taking foreign credit or debit cards. You can go into the bank with your passport and draw out money but it was about a £10 charge to do so.

You will enjoy, trust me! Smile
