haven't stayed there but had a drink in the Perun opposite it. Looks like a nice hotel, about 10-15 min walk from the gondola but I'm sure they'll do a shuttle bus, it's so cheap to eat out I wouldn't bother with the food in the hotel, head to a mehana in the old town, we paid around 25 lev to 40 lev max per couple inc drinks (aprox £7-14) and was worth every penny. If you stay around the gondola to eat/drink that tended to be a bit more expensive.
The hotel is nice, new, big rooms, lovely bathrooms and nice spa area (ask for robes when you arrive as they run out quickly every day). There is a nightclub in the basement, think our room was pretty much above it but we were on fourth floor so wasnt that much of a problem.
The food is ok, breakfasts were fine, not all that hot but most people would get something there that they liked. There is egg and ham etc although that wasnt very hot, fruit, cereals ...
Stayed at the Lion last week.

There is egg and ham etc although that wasnt very hot, fruit, cereals and lots of bread. We didnt stay half board but a couple of nights had dinner in the bar area, the pizzas are good. The Gondola is a ten min walk but the buses run every fifteen minutes in the morning. You are also very close to the main street.
