Has anyone stayed here and how far from the gondola is itre: Hotel Lion, Bansko
Hi, It's opposite the Perun where I stayed and is about a 10 minute (maybe a bit less) walk to the Gondola, but like the Perun has it's own buses running every 15/20 minutes to the slopes.Bikergirl

Lion features a branch of one of the best clubs in Sofia...Briliantin (Grease) so prepare for "...those wiiinteeer....niiiights...."

1st class hotel - stayed there last month and could not fault it at all.PP

Stayed there end of Jan. Short stroll to gondola but there is a minibus every 15 mins. After first couple of days we just walked. Hotels brill you'll have a great time.re: Hotel Lion, Bansko

Beautiful hotel large rooms, plenty of hot water, towels provided changed daily if you want. Can get robes for sauna from reception 5 levs each. food good. Buffet breakfast with everything you could want, evening meal typically bulgarian so seemed a bit monotonous but we only ate in twice. 2 pizzas in the bar and 3 drinks cost £6 and fed 3 hungrey girls.
Mini bar in bedroom cheaper than English prices so we used. rooms v warm as all ...
