Hotel Lion - Bansko

Booked to stay in the Hotel Lion in Feb but not really sure what it's like.
Has anybody stayed there?
If so how far is it from the lifts?
Can I find it on the map on this website? If so which street etc!!!
Never been to Bankso before but heard so much about it. Borovets is great but Bansko is supposed to be better?

You better believe it; Bansko is the place to be when it comes to Bulgarian ski resorts. Well, that's my opinion anyway as well as many others.
As for Hotel Lion, sorry I can't help you. However, I have a Balkan Holidays brochure and know that there is a write up in there. Perhaps drop into your nearest travel agent when you can a grab a brochure.

about 600 metres to the gondola. The Lion is a fine Hotel. The Lion is next to the Perun. Sorry no time to look for a map

Ive stayed at the perun wich is opposite the lion, from the outside the lion is impresive and we talked to people staying there who said it was fine. you are a gentle stroll from the gondola but if you prefer they put on a bus to get you there. Bansko is a fantastic place, im sure you will have a ball.
