Hotel Lion Borovets

Hi all,

I'm set to go to Borovets early Jan with freinds and we are staying at the hotel Lion, I'd appreciate any info/suggestions/advice from anyone who's stayed here.

My main question relates to getting to and from the centre, I know transport is provided and the hotel is around 1mile from resort centre but how practical would it be to walk or is the transport reliable/regular.

Also, I've heard the HB food is not so good, any good places to eat in Borovets?

Matt,
There are plenty of places to eat in borovets from chinese,bulgarian and even english.Chicken soup,turkish bread and something from the grill you cant go wrong.
