Hotel Lion Borovets

Hi
Am very close to booking this for our first family skiing holiday and just wondered if the pros out there had any opinions as to whether it is a good move?! I know it isn't in the centre and that is part of the appeal, but will we find it a real handicap as the week goes on?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
