Hotel Lion in Bansko

Hi All,
flying out on the 28th from manchester to Bansko, Staying at the hotel Lion.It is a New Hotel, Has anyone been to it this season and what did they think of it? anyone else going at this time. Thanks

going out on 14 jan, have heard it is an older hotel been renamed and refurbished but not sure

Got back from skiing yesterday, had a great time!. We stayed at the lion hotel in Borovetz and were impressed, i hope the one in Bansko is just as good for you

How far is it from the slopes? Is it walkable? if so, how long does it take? Ho often does the bus run into the town centre of Borovets?

Hi, I had the following reply from someone, back from Bansko, to similar question I posted earlier:

Brand new hotel, have not stayed there but had a look inside, very plush.

About 600m flat walk to slopes, but don't worry you do not have to walk around in your boots in Bansko, skis/boots can be store at the gondolas stations for about £17 for the week.
