HeyHas anyone stated at this hotel? Any honest reviews?
Also I would be interested to know how far a walk it is away from the slopes and is it safe to walk it at night?
Does the hotel offer brew making facility's in the room or a safety deposit box?

Stayed there about 4 years ago and loved it.
Good food and really nice room.
Free internet in the bar.
It will take you about 15 minutes to walk to the Gondola but they offer a free mini bus shuttle service to and from the hotel.
As for walking out at night - well in over 30 visits to Bulgaria over the past 20 years I have never once felt unsafe, but there is not a country in the world that is 100% safe so just don't do anything silly and you will be fine.

Not sure how useful this will be as we almost stayed there last year but chose the Alpin instead. The Lion looks nice and has good reviews but it is out of town. I understand it is walkable (20-30mins) but if you are loaded with skis etc then you would really need to use a shuttle bus/taxi which can be pain if you just want to pop back for some reason during the day.re: Hotel Lion
Yes I been told its a bit of a trek and we will be loaded up with boards etc but if the hotel good in every other way guess it be fine
