I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Mura in borovets?? Are there any local spa facilities and how close to the slopes/bars is it?We arrive on sat can't wait! the snow looks excellent!!!

Hi Gav!Stayed at the Maura last year for a week. Very basic, but clean & warm. Doesn't offer the hotel facilities as say the Samokov but does have a cosy bar and the staff are really friendly. With regards to location it is described as central but is still a good 10mins walk to the slopes. Hope you enjoy your hols, your set for some great snow!!

Moura is an ok hotel to stay in wouldn't recommend the food but the Bar is excellent. Happy hour starts at 6pm and ends at 12am.As for other facilities there is a smal night club downstairs but seemed empty whilst we were there at the end of January. There is a small games room there with some PC's for Internet access cost 3 lev for 1 hour.
Hotel is not too far from the slopes, Ski hire or gondola lift or from the shopping centre and also of course the bars and night clubs

Basic food. Clean and warm rooms. Friendly staff. 10 mins max to gondola. There is a pool table but it is not very good, use the ones in the Samakov hotel.Have a good time

hotel is ok, clean and basic, no genral complaints, in fact we intend to go back next year, so cannot be bad! like posts above i would leave the evening food alone, breakfast is ok. if you can afford it as food is cheap in boro there are plenty of resturants nearby that serve great food, but avoid the crazy man on the corner as he scared the life out of me, but i could not comment on the the food there, it maybe quite good but get i'll rid of the crazy man cross the road to the small shark ...

Stayed there the end of Jan and couldnt complain. The staff are friendly and its in an ideal location. The rooms are basic but then you'll only be wanting a bed and a bathroom as you'll be out all day.....and most of the night!!
Unlike others i found the food fine! I'm a really fussy eater but i didnt go hungry! Its bulgarian food so expect some bizarre combinations and your welcome plate of cabbage.......it will make sense when you're there!! Breakfast is cereal, toast (takes an age ...

Stayed there the end of Jan and couldnt complain. The staff are friendly and its in an ideal location. The rooms are basic but then you'll only be wanting a bed and a bathroom as you'll be out all day.....and most of the night!!
