Didn't stay there watched it being built in March and saw the finished building December looks very nice. If you get a room on the back of the hotel the views will be amazing.

I have stayed in the Orlovetz. Came back on New Years Eve.
Excellent hotel. Restaurant is very small but was never full the week that i was there.
Rooms are gorgeous and look on to the mountains.
Staff/bell boys cant do enough for you.
Spa facilities are good.
Have a fab time.

re: Hotel Orlovetz Pamps

sorry its taken so long to reply.
Evening meals varied alot but my 7 year old always found something to eat so i guess it couldnt of been that bad.
It lacked cooked vegtables which is probably why my son enjoyed it but there were salads.
sometimes the food was typically Bulgarian, Cold !!! The staff would warm it up if you asked them.

Snacks that you can buy in the piano bar are good and were always hot.

re: Hotel Orlovetz Pamps

To be honest, we never used credit cards whilst out there. We never even had to change any sterling while out there either.
Regarding the hotel exchange rate, im not much use but you could try asking them when your there and then comparing it with the local supermarket (which is a short walk on the same side as the orlovetz) as they have a foreign exchange.
Sorry im not of much help.
