Are any of you travelling with Toby M as I have spoken to him this evening and that is where he is staying?!!

I imagine that if it is a new unfinished hotel that you will be transferred to something better than you have booked. I doubt the resort is fully booked next week.

Hope this helps and that you enjoy your holiday.

re: Hotel Orphey, Bansko

Just got back yesterday. The hotel is largely finished although still bits and pieces being done in the rooms like mirrors being put up, mini bars being fitted etc. The steam room is working although gets very busy full of ruskies who like it really hot. The pool is great and overall the hotel gets a thumbs up, good quality and the service is ok. Biggest gripe was the food which was average to say the least, however there are some great bars and restaurants in town, one in particular ...

Biggest gripe was the food which was average to say the least, however there are some great bars and restaurants in town, one in particular Tavern Sinaniza is next to the Cafe Magic and the guy in there is called Ivan. He organised a great last night party for 47 of us in our party and it only cost us 25 lev, £10 including food and drink. Have fun!! Booze
