Hotel Pamparova + valuables

Does anyone know what facilities there are in Hotel Pamparova for keeping passports/cash/cards secure? Don't really want to be carrying them about on the snow.

They have boxes in the reception area (a few levs per day). The hotel also take your passport for 24 hours on arrival (so you can't runaway).

Very good hotel. Have fun.

i know that the perelik have what dickie says. little boxes in reception. you get given a key (guard it with your life) which you take to reception every time you want something out. also, ditto about the passport.

They take your passport not to stop you running away, but to register you with the local police. The police issue a slip of paper, which you must have when you depart from Bulgaria (you have to hand it in when your passport is checked at the airport). If you don't have it, there is a fine of up to £200.

The have safe deposit boxes in the rooms 6lev per day
