Just looked at the most recent reviews on tripadvisor for the hotel (morbid curiosity more than anything). Oh dear - I very much hope the tour operators are checking them too, it'll give their complaints staff a lot more free time next year if they disassociate themselves from the place!

Despite the odd favourable review on this forum, it would appear that that things aren't remotely improving and certainly not what they should be! In fact it seems to be getting worse the busier it gets! I feel espaecially bad for those who have had what are maybe their first impressions of such a wonderful place spoiled by that accommodation... because Pamps itself is lovely.

As a recent visitors, our group would advise people to look at their options before going if already booked. Surely the reviews and peoples concerns must count for sonething, and it's not like the tour operators haven't been told lately!!

Andrew - Yes it IS a dump this season, and your summing up was 95% spot on. But remember, it is Kats first season at the hotel. Did it occur to you that she was passing on otimistic reports from previous seasons (probably from the likes PLY who claim to have seen the place in better times). I think calling her a liar is unfair and harsh to say the least! And I'm sure after dealing with all the unhappy people (us included), she wont be saying the same thing to the unfortunate guests who arrived today! By my reckoning, there are robably... what would you say... 3 families sat in reception at this moment waiting to complain?? Cut her some slack Mate, it's not her fault it's a dump and the manager is about as likely to show some interest in his guests and their problems as we are to stay there again
