Have just booked for my family to stay at this hotel over the Christmas week this year. I checked some reviews first and there were some dodgy ones but it looked like the best of the bunch and good value for money. Like I said, it's booked now so no horror stories (please!) but any useful tips would be welcome. Cheers
I stayed there on my first trip to Pamps 3 years ago, it was the only time I stayed there, but I hope to go back this year. It had by far the best food of any of the hotels I've stayed at in Pamps and the service was better too.
The only complaint I had about the place was that the bars were a little quiet, and we mostly went to the resort centre to go out at night - but that wouldn't put me off at all....
Hi,
Stayed at the Hotel Pamporovo in March 2006, Hotel had lovely amenities some of which you had to pay for. I would'nt say that the bars were quiet, because in March the Irish bar downstairs was heaving, so much so we never used it. The restaurant..... food not to my liking, but depends what you are looking for, everyone is different. Hi,
Stayed at the Hotel Pamporovo in March 2006, Hotel had lovely amenities some of which you had to pay for. I would'nt say that the bars were quiet, because in March the Irish bar downstairs was heaving, so much so we never used it. The restaurant..... food not to my liking, but depends what you are looking for, everyone is different. After 2 nights we ate out, If you go to the restaurant reasonably early you cannot get a table, (it is only a very small restaurant) If you go later the tables are filthy, they neither change the top cover or even brush of the crumbs. Don't be put off.. It is a nice hotel and the buses pick you up right at the door for the slopes. I'm sure you will have a great time, we did, so much so were in the middle of booking for March 07, but trying the Orlovetz this time.. Have a great hol..
Thanks very much for your reply... it sounds promising and I'm still looking forward to going! If I ever get the hang of skiing, I hope to go back enough times to be able to call the place "Pamps" too Cheers
I love the Murgavets, but I am the only one in my party of 14 who prefers the Murgavets to the Pamps - I like the Murgavets better just because of the location, the Pamps is not in the middle of the nightlife, it has a disco and the Irish bar (the Irish bar is lovely), its only a few minutes in taxi to the main area - you can walk but I am lazy and vodka and icy/snowy paths dont mix
