Hotel Pamporovo

Does anyone know how long it takes to walk from the Hotel Pamporovo to the main lifts? Also, if anyone was there last year and visited the Murgavets cafe at the top of the mountain (near the TV tower), do you know if it's the same guys running it this year?Cheers,

Just returned from hotel pamporovo today. Takes about 10 minutes to walk to the ski depot where the main chair lift is, takes longer on way back though as its uphill on way back. Theres a bus which takes you down there and these are regular.re: Hotel Pamporovo
Yeah we stayed in the Mourgavets last year and remember every time we were on the bus it was full by the time it got round to the Hotel Pamporovo and usually didn't stop. Just preparing ourselves for the worst really. Probably just hop in one of the many crazy taxis or walk.
Any idea about the Murgavets cafe at the top of the mountain? It's the one where you can leave your boards inside on the left and the toilets are also just behind where you leave your board.

At the end of each season, most of the staff lose their jobs, and they have to head off to the beach resorts to find work for the summer.The following winter season most have to re-apply for their jobs, so you will see a lot of new faces each year at each location, plus a lot of familiar faces but working in different places.
Some will still of course, get their old jobs back.
