Stayed there in 2004 and 2005. There's a minibus takes you to the gondola and a nice warm boot room in the hotel. It is a short walk from the hotel into town for the mehanas. The pool and sauna are good, as was the massage (don't know if she's still there though). Food was standard Bulgarian buffet - basic but filling
We went to the Perun last January with the kids, very warm hotel and spot on can't complain.
We got the free minbus to the slope everyday, it ran every 10 mins or so. It's not a long walk as we walked back most days (its downhill back to the hotel)
I have just booked to go back this March with the free lift pass so i'd recommend it.
