Hotel Prespa

Has anyone stayed in the Prespa in the last couple of seasons ? I stay in Bulgaria every year but wanted to know if this particular hotel is ok, have stayed in lots
of others but wanted a true consumer opinion ?

Pud, I have stayed in the Prespa 4 times out of the last 6.

This hotel has been refurbished extensively over the past 3 years, rooms are basic but clean, warm and comfortable with modern shower rooms.

The reception area was done up 2 seasons back, and now has a very nice bar.

The restaurant, as in all hotels could be improved, but last February I found the food to be ok!

Thank you ! I appreciate the input, I have not been let down by any of them but just wanted an independent opinion from someone who has stayed there.....

Also been to prespa last 4 years, it's near enough to the centre of everything without the noise, as Ally says restaurant could do with being updated but food fine but the rest of hotel has been renovated over the last 4 years we have gone, rooms comfitable showers hot and powerfull and always found the staff to be helpful and pleasant

stayed in the prespa at the start of the year (jan)!!it was lovely except i absolutely hated the food in the hotel!and the rooms could have been bigger!!but the staff were so friendly and i just loved the fact that u could just walk down in your pjs at nite without anyone saying anything to you and sit at the big open fire!!heaven!

Thank you all for your info, I am not over excited about the food, I just make sure I have a jar of marmite with me, toast always works !!

the wandering around in your pj's bit and the open fire has sold it already, I will eat well before I go.......
