Hotel Rila - Borovets

Has anyone been to borovets and have been in or stayed in hotel Rila? If so what do you think about it as i am goin there on January 30th for a week.

Best place in boro,i know ive been 4 times and will go back if things hav'nt improved in bansko come jan 23rd

don't know if it's the best, but it certainly is pretty good. Right at the bottom of the slopes, ideal location. Food ok but don't expect the ritz. I'm sure you will have a great time, my family and I have certainly enoyed it in the past.

The Rila is great, as long as you dont expect too much!!

Excellent location, great pool.

Rooms ok, if now a little dated and tired. Breakfast more than adequate, never had evening meal as eat out.

Can be a little noisey. Rooms at the back of hotel are alot quieter but dont have the view.

I'm sure you'll have a fab time!!!

very exspensive drink wise and also make sure you keep an eye on your change as i got short changed a few times whilst was there.

superb location and thats about it.

The Rila is very/pretty noisey! most of the time. Expect to pay different prices depending on who serves you! but hey different coulture,and you can give the nod to the waiter/waitress you want in the lobby.Be polite and most people will welcome you with open arms and cheepish / and a little bigger drinks, once they get to know your face! In some ways there abit like the English respect them there respect you.

Dean,

The hotel is split in 2, hotel rooms to the right side of hotel and apartments to the left. Same place, same facilities just slightly different rooms!
