its location is great
the rooms are decent if your in hotel, if in studio take a kettle and mugs etc with you
beds decenta nd fine
food varys person to person some like and some dont but try it yourself first then eat in or out
just got back after yet another stay there
Food is not good. Ask for a low floor so you can use the stairs because waiting for the lifts is a bit of a pain.
The rooms are clean and warm and it is in a prime location for everything in the resort.
Just come back from Rila..had a great time agree with all the above comments!. Our party (31 inc Kids) thought the food was OK..however there are plenty of places to eat.
hi tony,
agree with all the comments above, have been going to rila for many years it improves every year. This winter the ladies of the night have disappeared, the portrait artists have gone(shame about that) and we have pancakes for breakfast, have already booked for next winter through inghams early bird £50 off/per lower floor. flying jan 20, white majic party night jan 22 roll on. can't wait, can't wait. oih pete r u reading this. hi to princess tanjetta.
yeah we wanted the artist but no luck
lol we got stuck in the lift for awhile this year though and the kids didnt even notice the power cut later in the week
we saw the ladies of the night each night in the lobby and out and about but then only as i regonised a couple as ones id chatted to in the rila on previous years
We were at the Rila a couple of weeks ago having stayed there before - rooms were good value - clean and warm. Food was adequate but we chose to eat out (very cheaply) in the evenings. Breakfast was OK. We missed the portrait artist which was a shame but I think it is now in the Samokov Hotel rather than the Rila - only just noticed that on our way home unfortunately, Would certainly not hesitate to stay there again - its location more than makes up for the food.
