awesome, doesw anyone know what the studio apartments are like at the hotel? we booked under hotel rila so im presuming the apartments are built into the hotel?
yes the rila apartments are in the hotel, its a big hotel right at the foot of the slopes surrounded by loads of great bars and eating places, you prob half board but its cheap to eat out if you fancy a change. Borovets is a top place, we've been loads of time and always had a fantastic holiday. Have fun
Hi,
Stopped in what I yhink u r calling the apartments last year, on our first ski holiday.
They have bunk beds as well as a double and a kitchen.
The rooms are warm and clean but dated.5*!!!!!!!!
The food is poor and we went out most nights.
We had an awesome time and have booked to go back for the New Yr, but at a cheaper hotel, the Ela.
Hope this helps.
Pete
Just to stay the food in most of the hotels is'nt all that great but there's some great places to eat out,,, Katie's for a steak, Happy duck just below the Samakov hotel is very good, and Sunnys opposte happy duck is a tiny place but the food is amazing,
I stayed in Rila apartments last feb. It's true the food is not brilliant, having said that we ate at the hotel every night of our stay. Done some fab pizza, kids loved the soups. Also for brekkie chef would cook pancakes in front of you banana and syrup mmmm. For an entertaining good meal go to the crown, at the bottom of the slope on the left. Free use of sledges for the kids when you have a meal. You will have a great time. Wish I was going back this season
ah excellent. sounds like loads of fun. glad you guys are pointing out the food isn't the best, my brother is a pretty fussy eater so i'll need to find some decent food places lol.
