Hotel Samakov

There are 11 o us staying at the Samakov from the 3rd of Feb. Has anyone been? Give us a quick heads up of the hotel, mountain etc. What are the best bars and clubs. oh and I herd that the old US dollor goes a long way. Is that true?

and out of the 11 there are a few single lads....women report please!!

I've been to the Samokov 3 times and Boovets for the last 10 years. There is always a big group of us (22 this year) and a lot of us are single men.

The best bars for drinking are Buzz Bar and the Black Tiger. as for women if theres none around there is always the, ahem adult bars.

paul the hotel is fine going for the third time you will enjoy, as for bars they are all fine each with there own different atmosphere. we are there the same time as you we will be the ones dancing on the table in the happy duck are own favourite end of night haunt

Thats great,however, lots of single men worries me. Is Borovets like Andorra or as we have named it Mandorra.!!
Also as a boarder what are the trails like and is there a ski park.

ps we are all millionares and will be holding auditions for groupies. farmboy,(one of the boys) will buy any women who he speaks to lots of drinks!

sadly mate i went to borovets last year and stayed in the samakov, the food is not worth eating and sadly you've got more chance of finding a female priest than you have of single women over there :-) although the samakov is not bad for abasing yourself mate so you'll be ok on that front, just remember to eat out!!!!
