Hotel Samokov (not kettle question)

Anyone stayed at Samokov recently, does it it still have its own instructors and equipment? as it did when we last stayed there 3 years ago.
We will be there again next Sat (30th Jan) and haven't seen anything on here about the ski schools and instuctors, it use to be the main topic on the forum years ago, suppose the snow conditions have preoccupied everything this season (thanks for your updates Kaz).
Also has the Samokov food got any better? or shouldn't I ask. thanks for looking Wink

We stayed at New Year, the food was better than last year, still basic but plenty choice. Ski depot downstairs with instructors and equipment, is just as it has been for many years. Have a good time

Sorry, we have our own gear, so just used the place for storing. Having said that I didn't hear anyone complaining. There are plenty of places to hire from if you don't think they are very good-the Ela across the road has a Rossignol shop and hires out their stuff, it used to be good, I think friends of ours paid about £60 for boots and ski's a few years ago for the week.
