Hotel Strazhite - Bansko

Hi all,

Only 6 sleeps to go and I'm off to Hotel Strazhite for what I hope is going to be a great week of skiing and maybe one or two beers!

Like everyone else I have two main questions - what are the ski conditions like and what's the hotel like?

I have another question too - this one is just as important - what's the beer like - I normally drink Stella is there a local brew that's good? Can you recommend some decent bars.

Draught Stella available at Lion Bar across road from Strazhite. Local Zakorka lager also really good; but then I've never known a bad lager.

Lion Bar also sell Kamenitzer which is another good local beer. Zagorka on draught at Amigos.

Hotel is very nice and in a good location!!!! I was there 2 weeks ago and skiing conditions wer very good there is plenty of snow and didnt stop snowing the whole time we were there!

Excellent - A good hotel - good skiing conditions - and Stella across the road - PERFECT!
