Heading out to Bansko at the end of Jan. Wondering if anybody has any experience of the Strazhite and looking for the names of a couple of good bars and retaurants for a couple of old telemarkers who like to party as well as ski?re: Hotel Strazhite
Usually stay at the Strazhite every year and think it is a great hotel. Situated smack bang between the gondola and the town (village). The rooms and hotel facilities are really comfortable and good service.If you like English food, SkyTV etc then there is a bar literally just opposite the hotel that seems to stay open all night.

great hotel in a great location, 500 yards from the gondola, they even have a bus up to the gondola if you can't manage a 5 minute walk, pool and steam rooms are pretty good too. food is ok and they have some strange concoctions, but that is how they do things in Bulgaria and its interesting, we only eat there on the first night cos its soooo cheap to eat out. bar across the road never closes and has all the footy on Sky if you are interested. Step out of the door, walk in any direction ...

HiStrazhite is a nice hotel: rooms and food are ok!
A nice bar in Bansko is the Sir Galahad! Nice staff and lovely atmosphere...
