The Malina village consists of several timber chalets. Downstairs is a reasonable size Lounge with a TV, the kitchenette with sink, fridge and a single electric ring - enough to make an early morning (or late night) cuppa, and the toilet/shower room. The upstairs is via a very steep staircase onto a small landing with two bedrooms, one a double and the other room has two singles.

This year they are building a new hotel on the site and when I was there last year the owners of the complex told me that they would be demolishing some of the chalets and the restaurant to make way for the new hotel, but there would still be several chalets left.
The village is a 5 minute walk from the ski depot, no ski bus needed. Its ok going down in the morning but its a bit of a drag coming back up the hill after a day skiing.
Night life was very limited and you needed to get a taxi into the main resort, however if the new hotel is built then there should be plenty going on in there, and I think that this is also where you would have your meals, but I might be wrong on that one.
Generally nice and quiet but within easy reach of the slopes and the nightlife, and right under the TV tower for a spectacular view.
Anyone out in Pamporovo able to offer an update on the progress of the new hotel ?
Hi all.
We were going to book a chalet at this village as it sounded ideal for our family. Problem was the hotel is not going to be finished until next season so we opted for a hotel instead.
The location to the ski lifts was tempting but then you are in the middle of nowhere for the evening.
That said, taxis are cheap and plentiful I hear.
