Hotel Yanakiev 9th Feb

Hello all!!

Anyone stayed at the hotel Yanakiev recently? I'm booked to stop there in 16 sleeps time. I've read good reviews about it, wondered if anyone knows about prices in the bar? Food any good? Rooms etc?

Also, where is it in relation to the rila?

Stayed at the Yanakiev last year and put an excellent review on Tripadvisor. Great hotel, brilliant location, good ski locker, drinks well priced and reasonable, fridge in your room, clean, warm and comfortable, the down side is the food, cold and disappointing mon-fri, when the Bulgarians arrive at the weekend the food improves, the food aside we tried to book this year but it was full. You will enjoy.

Where is the hotel? Will they mind if we store our boards in the room instead of a locker?

We are booked for bed an breakfast, so hopefully we'll get by on coffee an toast!!

The hotel is directly beside one of the nursery slope, get to the bottom and your at Bobbys bar. 5 mins to the Gondalla, once you get your bearings you can ski in and out. 5 mins to resort centre max. On the right hand side of the resort looking up the slope. Opposite side of the road to the Flora.

Ski locker is really safe, you give them your boards they give you a tag, really secure open all hours as well.
