Hotel

Am looking at going to Borovets in Feb.Havnt skiied for 15 yrs... Can people recommend good hotels, also r the ski schools worth doing, even tho its been a while , we were going to just do our own thing...

Went to the Samokov in 2003 - enjoyed it very much. Rila is good and friend of mine came back lasy year with glowing report on Iglika Palace.
BOrovets is a fairly lively resort and most hotels in the centre will be good.
Ski school - I would recommend it

Do ski school as you get a package which includes lessons, pass and equipment.

The instructors are more like guides for the more intermediate groups anyway and you go off up the mountains for the best part of the day. If you get a good one he'll be organising your social life in the evening too and it's a great way to meet other folk too!
