House Insurance recommendations please

Hi I am trying to get some advice on house Insurance for my house for next year. Just thought I would see if any owners out there that have recommendations Does any one have any useful info on price for complete coverage and a good company that they would recommend.
we have an amazing alarm system that rings, texts and emails us if any one goes near the house, thankfully so far not one call or picture of any people in black and white striped tops with swag bags hanging over their shoulders ...

Hello MarkI use Lark Insurance for my chalet in Borovets:

They have a good policy for overseas homes. I've not had to claim on it (yet?) but apparently the claims process is easy and they wouldn't need to go over there and assess it unless it was for a major claim. It helps because it's all in English!

Hi,I have just set up with a company called Intasure. Specialise in overseas holiday home insurance. Underwritten an Lloyds (surprise surprise). Good value thought too, under 100 quid for a studio (€50000) with €5000 contents cover.

Hi Mark ,im with Hiscox and have public liability cover contents etc etc .It costs me £450 anually which is quite alot i know but better safe than sorry .I had to make a claim for a water pipe leak and was paid out the full £2000 odd without poblems ,so it works.
