How Much more snow will Pamps need before the 3rd Jan for us to be able to ski, there looks to be a nice little cover building up...?XxX

For quality skiing it really needs a good fall of snow followed by a hard freeze. This will then form an ice pack that will preserve the following snow and prevent it from melting.
The last 2 years have been somewhat disappointing for early Jan, but many years prior to that it has been perfect. Still loads of time for this to happen, and I would expect the big falls (based on previous history) to come around Xmas time or just after.
