And of course, I am sorry to have wound you up with the myth. As a Brighton fan we have to put up with another myth which as a married man with kids is just as false!
One thing I did note is that around 7,800 Man U season ticket holders are M post code residents and that this represents around 29% of the entire season ticket holder base. That means you have around 26,900 season tickets which, in turn, is around 35% of your 75,765 capacity.
I have to put my boasting hat on and claim bragging rights as Brighton have 23,000 season ticket holders out of a 27,360 capacity at the super Falmer (I mean Amex) stadium. That's 84%. We will be going to a 30 ...

We are, without question, one of the best supported clubs in the country.

re: How did you get your screen name?
Jez,
A lot to learn you have, young jedi.
2001 data that was! not now, how many season ticket holders did Brighton have in 2001. ????
We now have 55,000 ticket holders, baring in mind the number of seats that have to be allocated to away supporters and other non-season ticket available seating, I do not think we do to badly!!
Remote Reds don't wind me up, I just like to drop the bait in the water and watch the fish bite ;-). At the end of day it's just a little bit of football banter.
MT - ah - fool me with your old data will you? I stand corrected again. Regardless the Seagulls still are one of the best supported clubs across all leagues, including the Premiership. There are several teams up there that struggle to get close to our average attendance. As you rightly allude to, however, when it ...
Hey SF,
Remote Reds don't wind me up, I just like to drop the bait in the water and watch the fish bite ;-). At the end of day it's just a little bit of football banter.
MT - ah - fool me with your old data will you? I stand corrected again. Regardless the Seagulls still are one of the best supported clubs across all leagues, including the Premiership. There are several teams up there that struggle to get close to our average attendance. As you rightly allude to, however, when it was home games in Gillingham and miserable wet Tuesday evenings at the Withdean then it was a struggle to get 2,000!
I would need to double check but our best attendance at Withdean I think was the defeat of Man City in the FA cup - somewhere around 6500. That was a BRILLIANT night.
I blame ebay. It's all their fault. I was trying to register a name and all the ones I tried were unavailable, so ebay made some suggestions and 'greenfrogfrolics' was my pick.
I started out using my name on another travel forum but after being picked on I decided I would be anonymous on future forums, and used my ebay name.
For a short while a few years ago I was SnowsyParker on here, but when I forgot my login details, I re-registered as GFF.
