How many ATMs in Borovets

Are there plenty of ATMs available in Borovets?
I heard a story recently of there being only 1 in operation for a time.

Is bringing plenty of Euros an option, as in, are there plenty of exchange places that will happily take yoyos?

Cheap Stuff

I am going to Borovets in Feb, was there a long time ago and bought some cheap ski stuff, designer knock offs etc, can anyone tell me if that is still the case and whats on offer.

Also I am staying in the Samakov, and would like to know if the bedrooms are warm, with plenty of bedding, as I am a cold morsel.

re: How many ATMs in Borovets

Hi,

We recently stayed at the Rila and there were an ATM inside at reception and one just out side at the bank.
We were also able to change sterling at the bank at a rate of 2.70 to the pound. The bank was open late in the evening also to change money.
Dont bother with the euros.
Hope this puts your mind at rest.

yep - still loads of cheap stuff. my daughters bought lots of spyder ski wear and goggles/hats etc are very cheap.

never had a problem with ATMs in borovets but found in Sofia that a lot of machines wouldn't accept my cards. (nationwide Visa Delta)
