How many items of hand luggage....

Can anyone help - are you allowed hand baggage plus a handbag or only one piece of hand luggage?

Buggeration!!! Better wear a coat with lots of pockets then for items that would have ordinarily been in my handbag!!!

I have a mini suitcase and its crammed to the hilt as it is as it was a means of bringing extra stuff that wouldn't fit in the case because of weight etc. Just thought I might get away with a small handbag too!

only allowed 5kg in hand lug and a lot of airlines wont allow liquid in it either. What are you taking? they use to let you take a handbag as well but dont know if that has changed havent flown since you could only take a purse and your travel docs what a pain that was but the plane cleared pretty quick at the end. the weight is a big thing with hand lug!!!!!!!!!!!
