How much money to take to pamporovo for a week?

Hello.
Me and a group of friends are headig out to Pamporovo for a week (28.12.13 to 04.01.14) and were wondering how much spending money we would need. We are self catering but will go out most evenings I would imagine. Could someone give me a rough price for food and drink?

Beer is 0.5 lev to 5 lev (usually 1.5-2.5lev).
Food - well I like to eat a lot..... full on 3 course meal with loads of sides (every day) I'd say for 2 adults if you do that every day + say a snack for lunch youd be fine with £30 per day


You could happily get by on just a main meal of liver & chicken hearts and that would be LOL cheap - worth trying it even if you dont like it it doesnt matter as its so cheap.

Been coming to Bulgaria for past 12 yrs. Basic rule I bring £400 then I have money to go home with. Nothing worse than running out of money on the last 2 days of your hols.

Have a great time if it's your first visit out to Bulgaria.

Hi Ski123,been going to bulgaria for about 10 years and I would go with Snow Plough's advice, I usually bring 400-500 out with me but take 200 back home,if I didn't stay out drinking all night it would be a lot less

would you say i was better off exchanging my money before I go, or when i get there?

Hi,change your money out there, much better rate,take clean not tatty English notes and don't change money at sofia or Plovdiv airports as the rate is much better in resort or town outside resort
