Hi all,
I'm take my tribe (wife and 2 girls) to Borovets, stopping in the Rila, half board.
I have heard the food is poor and expect to eat out every now and again.
We r going for one week and have our lessons, ski hire and passes taken care of.
How much do you regulars think i will need to take to have a good time?
i must admit that the food in the rila is not great but this may be due to the fact that it is a very large hotel and therefore caters for a huge number of people. The food is just ok but better food is in the many restaurants outside. It is very cheap to eat out at night and this is what we do for several nights, however we do eat in the hotel for a couple of nights. It really just depends on what dishes you like to be honest.
i stayed in the rila for a week last year and only eat there food all week, but the resort is cheap you will need half what you would expect to take to france thats for sure
